"I paint landscapes.  To me, there is nothing more beautiful than nature.
My paintings are in a modern impressionistic style which I call “Luminochromatic Impressionism”.  I use colour to capture the contrasts between light and shadow."
Natasha Hawes was born in the Russian countryside and learned to appreciate the simple pleasures of life.  She has always drawn and painted and was first exhibited internationally at the age of 11.
In 2011 Natasha moved to England.  Inspired by the Suffolk countryside she took up painting professionally.
Since 2015 Natasha has lived in southwest France, surrounded by vineyards, farmland and woods.  She works in Saint-Émilion in summer where her collectors can meet her in person at her Art Gallery at 13 rue Guadet.
Her paintings have been exhibited by galleries in England and France and also online.  Her original landscapes depict vineyards, the wine-growing countryside and the Atlantic coast of France.
Natasha's paintings are in private collections in the UK, France, Holland, Belgium, Russia, Germany, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Russia, Canada, Portugal, Spain and the USA.  Natasha was chosen from 60,000 artists to have her work featured in the Saatchi online gallery Autumn 2016 catalogue.
